The Department of Health is committed to testing and evaluating a range of integrated care modules and has 16 pilots currently running across a 2 year time scale. The Falls and Syncopy service at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle and the Durham Dales Integrated Care Organisation are just two of the programmes that form part of the world class commissioning strategy.
